Landscapes, deep space, and human stories beneath the stars.
Under Dark Skies
I’m an astrophotographer based in Utah, creating landscape astrophotography, deep sky images, and night sky portraits across the American West. My work focuses on capturing dark skies — from the Milky Way rising over desert landscapes to distant nebulae and galaxies revealed through long-exposure astrophotography.
Outside of photography, I work full time as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, where science and curiosity about the universe naturally intersect.
After relocating from New York to Utah, I began exploring the vast dark skies of the West. Much of my photography is shaped by those experiences — long drives to remote landscapes, quiet viewpoints, and waiting for the Milky Way to rise above mountains and deserts.
In addition to landscapes and deep sky imaging, I also create night sky portraits and offer astro portrait sessions beneath the Milky Way.
Through my blog, I share the stories, locations, and experiences behind each image to inspire others to explore and appreciate the night sky.
In January, I traveled across Utah’s national parks to capture winter astrophotography, photographing Delicate Arch, The Watchman, and Bryce Canyon beneath some of the darkest night skies in the world.
