Cherry Springs State Park in Pennsylvania is where my passion for astrophotography began—seeing the Milky Way for the first time and meeting Trevor Jones of AstroBackyard. That experience under some of the darkest skies in the eastern United States completely changed the way I saw the night sky.

What started as a single trip soon led me deeper into dark sky photography, from Pennsylvania to the Adirondacks and eventually the American West.
